Day 2...Tigers Baseball and Topics

What a DEPRESSING baseball game last night! The announcer tactifully put as "It looks like the power has gone out on the Tigers"...in my opinion, it looked more like a blackout. One more chance tonight for us to beat the Longhorns or I have a feeling I might never hear the end of it....so GEAUX TIGERS!

Last night at dinner, I told my family about my blog. I certainly got a few snickers and questions...such as the one from my Dad, "Do you know what Blog means?" Being my family, we of course don't look it up on dictionary.com, but instead on urbandictionary.com. Urban Dictionary defines blog as "A meandering, blatantly uninteresting online diary that gives the author the illusion that people are interested in their stupid, pathetic life." Well, if the shoe fits.

So after laughs and jabs from all, everyone started giving me topics that they would like to see me blog about...so the next few weeks I will be writing about what my fam wants to hear me write about. My first topic will be living in Washington D.C. vs. living in Houston...requested by my great Dad, who, along with Mom, was such a huge supporting force in getting me to move to Washington and supporting me while I was getting on my feet there.
