My baby sister is 19 and I honestly cannot believe it. Where does the time go? Does anyone else feel like they JUST turned 19 a few days ago? Remember those days? When "important decisions" were rather to go to Bogies or Mellow Mushroom or if your "ID" was "good enough." For me, it was the days of El Patio Blue Margaritas and Marlboro Lights. And it was GLORIOUS while it lasted.
On this day I'd like to tell Kay Kay what a bad ass she is. Her smile and laugh is contagious and she always brightens up any room. I love when she comes back to Houston, we all miss her alot. She is my baby sister, but I feel like I have learned so much from her. She gives great advice and back rubs, and enjoys pinching me until I cry (which normally doesn't take long...) We share a love for Poo Poo Broussard (stay tuned, more to come on our YouTube fascination later this week), Rap music, bologna and the fattest man in the world documentaries. Not to get sappy, but I really am blessed with two of the world's best sisters and am so lucky. (Okay, I got sappy, sorry....as KK would say "Pull yourself together!")
Anywho, KK Rat, Happy Birthday Sister Girl. Have fun at Bogies tonight or wherever you might end up. I'm proud of you and congratulate you on reaching the age that you can ride in the back of a truck.
I remember my 19th bday, had a huge blow out at our apt. with long island ice tea trash can punch...ohh the memories.
